Trade your shoes for flip flops, apply sunscreen and head out to the deck, pool or beach – your choice! Caroline's Cove is your getaway to completely focus on making memories with family and friends. Well-equipped and comfortable furnished, this will really feel like your home away from home during your stay on the Outer Banks. There are four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bath for plenty of privacy. You won't hear that dreaded phrase: '"Mom, there's nothing to do..." all week because Caroline's Cove has a private pool, hot tub, a TV in every bedroom, wifi, and a variety of community amenities.

Buck Island is one of the most sought-after locations in the northern Outer Banks. This gated community contains an Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, tennis and basketball courts - all located within 500 feet of the home. The beach is roughly 1650 ft. away and the community's oceanside cabana bathhouse is an added convenience! Appreciate two shopping centers within walking distance offering splendid dining choices, a sizable grocery store, movie theater, mini golf and bumper cars.

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Buck Island, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Currituck Beach. Corolla Raceway and Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Getting the most from your rental budget:

  • In the Currituck area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Reserve your Currituck vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses.
