We invite you to put your toes in the sand and a drink in your hand...Horse Inn Around is our little getaway where we escape to relax and appreciate a secluded beach vacation. We visit the area as often as we can and appreciate it for it's calming laid back, away from it all ambiance. Savor your complimentary (Horse Inn Around bottle of wine) while soaking in the serene hot tub under the twinkling stars.
Almost everything is new including: hot tub, wet bar and a completely supplied kitchen. Even a high chair for the little one.
A 4WD VEHICLE IS A MUST TO GET TO THIS PROPERTY. Seriously, You're going to drive 10 miles up the beach and LOVE EVERY SECOND OF IT!
**Linens (linens and towels) can be supplied for an additional fee or bring your own. Please advise at the time of booking.
**Family Animals welcome for an additional fee (more fun to bring with you and definitely most cost effective than boarding).
The location is a remote, wooded lot, where the horses adore to roam and take shade from the sun. While private, you are just a short two-min. drive to the beach, where you can chose your favorite beach front parking spot and relax, look for sea shell treasures, maybe spot a school of dolphins or watch the horses play. Beach parking passes included.
Note: In Carova, there is a enormous dune that separates homes from the beachfront, so most visitors choose to drive to the beach regardless if 50 feet or 1100 feet from the beach. It's part of the appeal of Carova -one of the only beaches left in the USA that you can still drive and park on. No need to pack and unpack all of your beech stuff, all week! Why carry the cooler when your 4 wheel drive can do it for you.
You will see horses and more stars than we could all ever count!

Our top Rental home tips:
Find your perfect vacation home:
- To get the best value, try changing your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, , and reduced traffic.
- In the Currituck area, The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.
How to select the perfect rental home in Corolla:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Horse Inn Around ???? : Beach Fun for All ???? Pet Friendly! has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is usually available online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property owner before booking the vacation home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
- If your group is traveling with pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Make a record of any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would at home.
- Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a excellent time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
