"Northwind and Villa" Come experience the 4x4 beach in this one-of-a-kind bespoke home with some pretty fantastic spaces. The enchanting design offers the main home with three bedrooms and the "Villa" with a fourth bedroom, independent kitchen and bath. This set up accepts one couple to get away from it all if desired!! A novel approach to the very real possibility that someone in the group will need more [sleep? - peaceful? - privacy? - fill in the blank! ] Find the link to the Villa 3d tour in the dining room doorway of the 3D tour of the main home.
The main home has three levels with ground level entrance and two additional floors. Up the stairs to the right, level two offers a giant oceanfront living space with kitchen, dining, living room, laundry and half bath. Go to the left at the top of those stairs and you're in the king bedroom with private bath and deck access. There is a hot tub on this level on the northeast level two deck. Upstairs to level three you'll find an oceanfront living space with couch, tv and deck with fantastic oceanfront vistas. Two bedrooms behind this living area offer two Queens in one room and a King with twin trundle in the other. These two rooms have their own private half bath (toilet and sink) but there is an access from either side to get into the "shower room".
"Villa" is connected to the main home by the level two deck. This tiny home is located to the south of the main home and offers a modest living space with sleeper couch, kitchenette, full bath and a loft with queen bed. Ideal for a young couple or modest family. See the 3D tour here:
Savor the huge private pool on the ocean side of this splendid home, with ample seating and either gas or charcoal grille. Walkways/ boardwalk between the home, pool and outside shower mean no sandy feet from pool to living room!! :-)
Northwind is a dreamy place, with so many spaces for gathering or for solitude. Come appreciate the oceanfront experience; crashing waves, soft ocean breezes and blue expanses from every level of Northwind and Villa. The humongous number of stars in the sky and the moon rising over the ocean will remind you of how sizable the world is and how lucky you are to be right where you are.

Getting the best rental experience:
Getting the most from your budget:
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in Carova. To book the largest rental within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
- Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, property management companies supply Currituck area travel guides which often include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Currituck visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Narrow your Search:
- First, have your group agree to date ranges and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Northwind New home Oceanfront \/ pool, hot tub Astounding Views! 4x4 required has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you reserve the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
- If there's a specific Currituck destination you are enamored with, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
Tips to have a smooth stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Upon check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
