Realtors always say, "Location, Location, Location..." to make a sale, but it is TRUE with this home location in Corolla.
Our beach home, "Southern C Salt" has four(4) bedrooms and two and half (2.5) baths and is located 1 mins. from the top of the dune beach access! Let the ocean sing to you from the wrap around decks in the evenings after a marvelous day in Corolla! Not only is the beach close, but with the bicycle trail along Route 12, your are only 0.5 - 0.8 miles away from shopping centers in either direction with 2 grocery stores, multiple eateries and other shopping venues. We and guest have comfortably ridden bicycles and walked to these shopping centers!
On the beach level you will find a Hot Tub, a Gas Grille, Corn-hole Boards, Outdoor Showers and a Pub Table with chairs to savor. The upper level(living areas) refreshed the spring of 2020 with fresh paint, a 55" sizable screen TV and modern sectional couch in seating area is well designed for family vacations. The adjoining kitchen has been refreshed with: white cabinets, granite counter tops, new back-splash, luxury vinyl tile floor, new appliances and all new lighting. There is also the upper level deck with polywood furnishings and a screened in porch with picnic table for dining off the kitchen with handsome sunsets. This floor also has a freshly modernized half bath for your convenience. The sleeping quarters are all on the second floor and were refreshed in the 2021-2022 off season. The rooms are: 2 King bedrooms, a Queen bed/bunk bed room(shark décor and known as the Shark Room) all with a mid-level deck entrance, and a two-twin bed with trundle bedroom (flamingo décor and known as the Flamingo Room). All bedrooms have carpet, TV and closets. Pack-n-play and highchair is also available. The sleeping quarters floor has two full baths completely modernized spring of 2023. The master bath has a 48 x 72 walk in shower, new double vanities and a separate toilet room. The second bath has a soaking tub & shower combo. There is a full sized washer and dryer on this floor also. This floor has the mid-level wrap around deck for everybody to appreciate.
We are in a multi-year remodel on this home but since our purchase in 2020 it has come a long way to be great vacation time for our family and yours.

Located in Ocean Sands, a neighborhood in Corolla, this vacation home is near theme parks and near the beach.   • Summer is the most expensive season in Corolla. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Currituck vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Remember to be objective.
