This comfortable semi-oceanfront home gives you all the benefits of an oceanfront home without paying ocean front prices! You and your family will savor ocean vistas just one lot from the beach on a peaceful cul-de-sac in Ocean Sands Section F. We are located on the sandy beach, with NO roads to cross, just a fast walk to the ocean. Walk on our private sand path about 100 feet to the boardwalk, another 180 feet on the boardwalk over the dunes to the ocean - a total of 280 feet from door to beach!

This striking reverse floor plan is overflowing with character while offering ocean vistas. Watch breaking waves, wildlife, and spectacular sunrises from the comfort of your chair in the unique, octagon-shaped, two-story, bright, and airy Great Room. Appreciate our two enormous sundecks and the huge screened-in deck for outside dining or appreciating the cooling breezes while protected from the elements. Unwind in the hot tub or soak up the sun in our swimming pool all in the privacy of our fenced in pool patio complete with dining area.

Top Floor: Savor our 65" high definition widescreen intelligent TV complete with surround sound home theater stereo system with 5 DVD/CD player/radio and wall mounted rear speakers which provide magnificant sound quality. Electric fireplace. Updated major appliances in kitchen, full bath w/ washer and dryer, breakfast table (seats 4), bar (seats 4), sizable dining room table (seats 10) and card table. Dining room leads to a huge screened porch w/ 2 picnic tables (seats 16). Substantial ocean front deck has a gas grille and plenty of cozy seating.

Mid Level: Four generous sized bedrooms. Two bedrooms have king sized beds, private deck access, TVs and shared Jack and Jill bathroom. One bedroom has two twin beds with a TV. Another bedroom with two twin over twin bunk beds. Twin bedrooms share full hallway bathroom (with full bathtub!).

Ground Level: 2 gas grilles, 10x20 private pool, hot tub (seats 7), private sandy path to beach boardwalk. Plenty of complimentary parking including two car carport.

Extras: Wireless high speed internet, complimentary unlimited local and long distance calling, gas grille, high chair, outside shower, community tennis, plenty of seating & outside calming, ocean side and west facing decks. Smoking is not allowed.

Distance to Beach: 280 feet along private sandy path, no roads to cross. Bed linens and bath towels supplied and beds made.

Because we are part of the Ocean Sands community, you will have access to multiple tennis and pickleball courts in the area.

Great Location for golfers - within a half mile of esteemed Currituck Club Golf Course, a Rees Jones designed 6888 yard, par 72 golf course awarded a spot on Golf Magazine's list of "Top 10 You Can Play." Golf Digest also ranked The Currituck Club as one of the Top 25 courses in North Carolina.

Walk (less than a half mile) to the 49,000 square foot Harris Teeter grocery store and other new stores at the Currituck Club.

Animals welcome but must be declared and a pet fee paid ($225 pet fee covers up to 2 dogs). Family Pets are not allowed on the furnishings or the linens supplied.

There are 3 cameras on the property, at the front door, back door and overlooking the lot between the home and ocean. Cameras will be on during your stay, recording is not active, only triggered when motion is sensed.

About the Area

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Ocean Sands, a neighborhood in Corolla. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Corolla Raceway and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars. Nor'Banks Sailing and Flippers Arcade & Variety Store are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming and other activities like golfing.

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Book your Currituck vacation in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
