Gone Coastal is a dog-friendly home for up to 2 dogs. Located in The Hammocks section of The Currituck Club, it has a private pool but also has access to the local community pool during the summer months. Free beach trolley service is supplied by the Club from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekends. This home has a SATURDAY check-in day from mid-May through the end of September.

TOP LEVEL:
Great Room encompasses both the Living area with huge flat-screen TV and a Dining table (seats 8). There is access to the upper deck which overlooks the pool patio below. The entirely-outfitted kitchen has an island with bar (seats 2). A King Master Suite with TV is also located on this floor; its Master bath features double vanity sinks, a garden tub and separate shower. There is a Half Bathroom located on the top level. Stairs lead up to a modest loft space with access to a balcony on the upper level. (Note: gas fireplace not for guest use.)

ENTRY LEVEL:
There are 3 bedrooms on this level: a Queen bedroom which shares a hall bath (shower/tub combo) with a bedroom that has 2 twin beds. The second King Master Suite has a TV and a door to access the back covered deck. Savor the chairs and outdoor table on this level at the back of the home. A Foosball table is located in the garage along with a second full-size refrigerator. There is room for parking 2 cars in the driveway.

EXTRAS:
In season, The Hammocks section has full-size pool and kiddie pool for the little ones. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier gated community, your family can use its various amenities including complimentary trolley service to the beach access, beach valet, Clubhouse with on-site dining, enormous community pool with kiddie pool, Exercise Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, and volleyball! There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bicycle riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play on the 18-hole course, landscaped throughout this resort, with sound and ocean vistas.

About the Area

Located in Corolla, this vacation home is near the beach. Outer Banks Beaches and Tar Cove Marsh reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Corolla Raceway and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Nor'Banks Sailing are also worth visiting. Discover the area's water adventures with jet skiing and kayaking nearby, or enjoy the great outdoors with ecotours and cycling.

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • To book the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
