Discover Sandy Pause, a vibrant oceanside hideaway in Corolla that promises a plethora of amenities to enhance your upcoming Outer Banks vacation!

Savor a cup of coffee while taking in the warm salty breeze and ocean and sunrise vistas from the front deck with comfortable seating. When not at the beach, located just 700 feet away, soak in the sun next to the private 12x20 pool. Mix up a cool drink at the poolside tiki bar before calming in the bubbling hot tub. Horseshoes and a basketball goal will keep the family entertained for hours!

Inside, the top level great room offers a bright and airy living area, a dining area for 8 with access to the screened-in porch and open deck, and an open kitchen with countertop seating for 3. A queen bedroom with deck access and a full bath round out the top level of Sandy Pause.

A cozy den with plush couches, a TV, and a mini refrigerator can be found on the mid level, as well as a queen en suite, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a pyramid bunk bedroom, and a full hall bath. All 3 bedrooms on this level offer TVs. The covered deck on this level features a hammock, ideal for reading a good book after a long day in the sun!

Monterey and TimBuck II shopping plazas are close by, providing simple access to groceries, eateries, stores, a movie theater, mini-golf, go-carts, and more.

Sandy Pause is located just a short walk to the beautiful, broad lifeguarded (in-season) Whalehead Beach via the Herring Pedestrian Walkway.

Sheets and towels are included with beds made.

Sandy Pause includes credit for $315 in beach gear units from our partners at VayK Life. Stay between April 6th and October 19th, 2024 (7-nighttime minimum), and use your beach gear credit for items such as bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, paddleboards, and more!

Sandy Pause is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing family pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet costs range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes.

Top Level: Living area, dining area, kitchen, queen bedroom, full bath, screened-in porch, furnished deck.

Mid Level: Queen en suite with private bath, a pyramid bunk bedroom, a bedroom with two twins, a full bath, and a den with a 55" ROKU TV, covered deck.

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Currituck Beach, while Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights.
