Our freshly refreshed oceanside home located in Whalehead Beach, is less than a 5 min. walk to the beach! Take in ocean vistas from the crow’s nest where sunrises and those striking Outer Banks sunsets will make you never want to leave! Tranquil coastal furnishings, cavernous gathering spaces, and fun inside and out are all waiting for you. Stay in the heart of Corolla- close to eateries, stores, water sports, and the handsome Spanish Mustangs, when you book Its Always Sunny In Corolla.
Looking for a home to reconnect with the whole family and disconnect from the rest of the world; to reminisce about vacations past, where year after year the same stories are told, but they still make everybody laugh; to make new memories in a place that feels like home? It’s Always Sunny In Corolla is just the place for you!
Filled with coastal appeal, the bright and open great room will definitely be the center of activity. The updated kitchen with island seating is well supplied with everything you need to make a family feast or a fast breakfast, plus it has TWO dishwashers to make cleanups super simple. There is a enormous dining room table, ideal for meals together or family game nighttime, and a comfortable family room where everybody can gather to watch TV or talk about their fun day at the beach. There is an additional sitting/lounge area on the upper level, as well as the master bedroom with brand new en-suite bath (King).
Parlor in the sun or shade on one of our many decks, where you can appreciate your morning coffee, read a good book, or sip on your favorite adult drink. Everyone’s favorite deck is the Crow’s Nest which offers not only some ocean vistas, but vistas of Corolla for miles!
The mid-level is for rest and relaxation, a place to getaway for privacy. Four of the six bedrooms (K/K/Q/Pyramid) are located here, as well as one of TWO hot tubs. Three bedrooms have direct deck access.
The ground level is all about fun! You’ll find a sizable game room, where you can shoot pool, play foosball, or try one of our many arcade games. There’s also plenty of space to just hang out and watch TV or mix up a drink at the wet bar with full size refrigerator. Just outside the game room is our 1/2 acre yard, waiting for you to discover. Spend time cooling off in the private pool (16X32, HEATED, for additional fee; see below), soaking up the sun on the huge pool deck, or calming in the second hot tub (under the stars highly recommended). There’s a swing set for little ones, horseshoe pits, a volleyball net, and a grille. Definitely something for everybody!

Finding your perfect rental:
- Summer time is high season in Corolla. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have deals for local shops and restaurants.
Planning, picking, and booking the best Currituck vacation home:
- Select dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Updated, Corolla Home; 5 mins to Beach, Heated Pool, 2 Hot Tubs, Game Room has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before booking the property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is right for your family.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
- If your family is traveling with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.
During your stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if damages are assessed.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of issues.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property a final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
