We will be back! Thank you for the hospitality!"

Strategies to get the perfect Currituck rental experience:

Find your perfect rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in Corolla. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Look for your local Currituck visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides have coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to pick the best vacation home in the Currituck area:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. 8th And Sound: Elevator, Pool, Spa, Golf Discounts has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Currituck rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before reserving your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds.
  • If there's a particular Currituck beach you crave, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.

More tips for your visit:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many concerns.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a fantastic time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
