The Wright Stuff (formerly known as Time Out) has new owners who spent the winter giving this home a fresh new look for you! Pictures showcase new solid surface countertops in the kitchen, the freshly painted cabinets and interior walls, our three Queen bedrooms instead of just two, plus the twin over full and another room with 2 twins. We simply can’t wait to host your group! Combined with the private hot tub and all of the amenities of Corolla Light Resort, you couldn’t ask for a better Outer Banks Vacation!
The Corolla Light community stretches from the ocean to the sound, with a complimentary trolley that picks you up and takes you directly to the beach (in season). A short five min. walk from the home you’ll find a soundside pier to get an even better view of our exceptional sunsets, outdoor tennis courts, a soundside pool, nature trails, trolley service, and the Sports Center. This facility includes an indoor pool, heated 12 person jetted spa, indoor tennis courts, & gym. Even more is available at the oceanfront facility! You’ll have access to oceanfront pools, oceanfront restaurant, beach access, volleyball court, pickleball court, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground, ping pong tables, showers, Did we mention the marvelous eateries, stores, & historic Corolla Park that are all within walking distance? The biggest decision you will have during your stay at our home is what to do!
Our charming home is located in a comfortable cul-de-sac that is walking distance to the community soundfront dock. It is attractively constructed 5 bedroom, 4 bath getaway from your daily anxiety. We also have private decks on two sides of the home for your outdoor living enjoyment. Starting at the top are vistas galore! Decks offer striking soundviews to savor a morning cup of coffee, and afternoon beverage, or a nice dinner outside in the screened porch section. This floor provides a bright, roomy open area concept with our newly refreshed kitchen (new photos coming when finished), dining area, and family room. The kitchen offers seating for 8, plus 3 at the island and even more outside. We are completely supplied for the chef in your group, with dishes, cookware, cutlery, barware, & glassware for your every culinary need. Appliances include a blender, standard coffee maker, Keurig, microwave, dishwasher, electric range & oven, & refrigerator/freezer. We offer Roku TVs in the living area and bedrooms so you can bring your own accounts! We are also providing access to Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, and ESPN. Downstairs on the mid-level, we have one queen bedroom with adjoining ensuite full bath, a second queen bedroom, a twin over full bunkroom, and a second full bathroom We also have a queen bedroom on the top floor that adjoins a full bath. Covered parking offers dry entry into the ground level, where you will find a bedroom with two twins, a full bath and the laundry area. Your beds will also be freshly made for your arrival, & bathrooms set up with bath & beach towels for your use during your hideaway.
Our piece of heaven is an impressive choice for visitors with its proximity to shopping, eateries, arts, sightseeing, boating, fishing, bird watching, jet skiing, surfing, eco tours; many are in walking distance! The Currituck lighthouse & Whalehead Club are also close by, not to mention our famed wild horses that roam the beaches just North of our home. Everything you need, right here in paradise!

We want everybody to have a amazing, calming hideaway in our Outer Banks home! Part of ensuring the same experience for everybody relies on our housekeepers, inspection personnel, & maintenance repair personnel being able to maintain the home in tip top shape for you & your family in between renters. They do a amazing job of making sure everything is done during a very short window. Check-out time is 10 am; departure instructions are supplied in your welcome letter & are also located on the refrigerator. Check-in time is set for 4 pm to allow them the time they need to prepare the home for your arrival.
We understand that there are times when you may need an early check-in time. We are happy to offer guaranteed early check-in if you have confirmed & paid for this additional service 2 weeks prior to arrival. This payment accepts us to compensate our home staff for prioritizing our home for your early arrival at 1 pm. If requested, we will check with vendors to be sure their schedules can accommodate and if so, arrange payment. As a courtesy to our service vendors, we ask that you please do not park at the home, drop off personal items, or ask our vendors if the home is ready yet if you do not choose to coordinate a paid early check-in. We appreciate your understanding as we prepare our home for your hideaway!
