BookSmart Properties presents: Blue Monkey! After appreciating the charming beaches of Corolla only 5 min away, come kick back at this roomy & private home. Cool off in the pool, grab a drink at the tiki bar, and fire up the grille. This secluded getaway has activities for everybody with games such as horseshoes and foosball. At nighttime, head up to the spa on the upper deck and relax under the stars. Located in the beautiful Ocean Sands community and a short drive to local stores and eateries!

Guest Access:
Detailed check-in instructions and a unique access code will be supplied prior to arrival.

**Per HOA guidelines and local laws, the guests making the reservation must be at least 23 years old and be present during the entire duration of the stay. For non-family groups, all guests must be over the age of 23. If this rule or the home occupancy limit is breached, guests may be subject to fines or eviction.**

**Up to two family pets are welcome for a $150 pet fee that will be added to your reservation**

**The pool will be open from 5/1 - 10/9. If your stay is outside of this date range and you would like to use the pool, please reach out and I will do my best to accommodate.**

Getting Around:
The home is located in the Ocean Sands Community in Corolla. The exact property address and home details will be sent to you with the check in instructions so you can comfortably plan your transportation!

Other Things to Note:
Animals are welcome, however, in order to ensure the cleanliness of our property for future guests we will require an additional fee.

Fee structure:
$150 pet fee

The pool will be open from 5/1 - 10/9. If your stay is outside of this date range and you would like to use the pool, please reach out and I will do my finest to accommodate.

The hot tub will be open year-round.

Payment Schedule:
50% due at confirmation
50% or remaining balance due 30 days before check-in

The following violations may be subject to fines of up to $150: unregistered pets, late departure without approval by host, & home left excessively messy.

High speed Wifi is an amenities that is supplied at the property but we cannot guarantee functionality for issues that are beyond our control. Potential Wifi outages will always be handled in a timely manner and resolved to the best of our ability. Unfortunately it is not guaranteed that our solutions will fix the issue and refunds will not be given for Wifi malfunctions.

Interaction with Guests:

Finding your best deal:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Currituck area. To get the largest rental within budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
