The resort encompasses 240 acres and is considered be the most family-friendly resort on the Outer Banks. Corolla Light is home to some of the best beaches anywhere on the Outer Banks and they are patrolled by lifeguards during the summer season. The three air-conditioned Corolla Light trolleys run every 20-25 minutes during the summer season. Getting around the resort is so easy! Just pick up the trolley at the stop close to Sol Mate and off you go! If you're headed to the oceanfront complex, you'll enjoy a community pool, basketball, volleyball, tennis, a playground, and shuffleboard courts while you're there. You can get your workout in using the Corolla Light Sports Center. This facility includes an indoor pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a fitness center with showers and a sauna, racquetball, walleyball, ping pong, and weekly activities.
