Unwind in style at OBX Rays, a roomy and extravagant vacation rental located within the esteemed Currituck Club community. This 5-bedroom, soundfront haven offers beautiful water vistas and a wealth of amenities to ensure an memorable Outer Banks experience.
Step inside and discover a haven designed for relaxation and entertainment. The broad layout offers plenty of space for families and groups to gather and create lasting memories. Curl up on the comfortable couches in the living area, or appreciate some time in the freshly constructed screened porch, equipped with a TV and seating which was thoughtfully designed to allow for guests to savor the calming location right on the sound. Prepare meals any time of the day in the well-equipped kitchen, all while never missing the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the water. Looking to take the fun outside? Savor the sizable pool out in the back of the home (heat can be added for an additional fee seasonally) or soak away anxiety in the hot tub.

After a day exploring the Outer Banks' appeal, getaway to one of the five inviting bedrooms, ensuring a comfortable and exhilarating nighttime sleep. The fifth bedroom is located in its own apartment above the garage, entirely equipped with a private bathroom, kitchenette and is only accessible from inside the main home ideal for a couple in the group. Challenge your friends and family to a game of pool or foosball in the rec room, or simply relax and take in the striking water vistas. With so much to offer, OBX Rays provides the ideal setting for an unforgettable Outer Banks escape.

Beach Access: Guests in the Currituck Club are able to use the beach access located near the south gate of the community, located at Yaupon Lane. During the summer season, take advantage of the complimentary trolley service that will transport you and all of your beach gear to and from the access!

No Smoking/Vaping. No Family Animals Accepted. Private pools open Easter through Columbus Day.

Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October.
Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (e-mail is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental prices in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses.
