This 3300 sq. ft. designer 6 bedroom and 6.5 bath is really a home away from home! Being high on Beacon Hill in the Corolla Light Resort, this home offers expansive windows that reveal ocean-view sunrises and charming unobstructed sunsets over the sound!

A Birdie’s Eye View features 5 en suites with private baths and other amenities including a private 14x28 pool, a hot tub, an elevator, a pool table, Foosball, 2 fridges, 2 washer and dryers, and 2 dishwashers.

A cavernous recreation room on the lower level includes a pool table, Foosball table, a full-sized refrigerator, flat screen TV, and plenty of seating, with direct access to the outside deck and pool area. The mid-level den offers a comfortable and peaceful place to relax, and includes a wet bar. For peaceful moments and magnificent vistas facing the ocean, the top level features an elevated reading loft.

About the Area

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa. Corolla Raceway and Digger's Dungeon - Home of Grave Digger are also worth visiting.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
