The intense red sunsets over the striking Sound waters of the Whale Head Bay are just mins. away. The skies in Corolla are as spectacular as they come; dark and starry. The wrap around decks make the ideal spot to get lost in the skies of Corolla. The beach remains the main attraction and is just a short walk to heaven. Sandy and Clean, Whalehead Beaches remain some of the most handsome on the Outer Banks.

The casual dining at Agave Roja or perhaps you prefer a more formal dining experience at North Banks are only a convenient five min. drive. This home is located in the center of all of the places that make Corolla one of the top vacation destinations across the country year after year.

The Rookery is cavernous enough for everybody to find their own space yet remain under one roof. With enough space for two sizable families, the bedrooms are all equipped with flat screen TV's and comfortable beds. Nothing beats outdoor entertaining at the beach - with a sun deck and hot tub, there is plenty of entertainment to be had. Since grilling is one of the best parts of vacation, this home comes with two park grilles and a gas grille for the outdoor chef in your group.

After a day at the beach - the pool is the ideal relaxation station for the entire family. With ample outdoor seating, this is the ideal gathering spot for a poolside dinner.

Get the best value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To get the largest rental home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
