Surrounded by Sanders Bay and the ocean, this sprawling, family-friendly home provides the ideal escape for your next visit to sunny Corolla! Fun enfolds you; all you have to do is look - check out the close by Wild Horse Adventure Tours, Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Historic Corolla Park, and Duck Town Park Boardwalk for days out on the town. A beach day can be any day with the beach being so close. Savor kayaking, sailing, and swimming.

For amusements at home, you can play sand volleyball or basketball in the driveway, swim in the private pool, concoct drinks at the tropical outdoor bar (including a mini refrigerator and TV!), or watch movie marathons on one of the other enormous TVs.

You will find a cavernous main living area adorned with ample seating, a sizable TV for streaming your favorite shows and movies, high acoustic ceilings, and beautiful vistas. (The fireplace is not operational.) In this space, you will also have effortless access to a bar, the dining area, and the full kitchen. The chef of your family will delight in showing off their culinary skills as the meal prep space is plentiful, and the nifty kitchen gadgets are in abundance!

From many rooms in the home, you can catch pretty outdoor vistas and walk out onto the home's many outdoor living areas. Unwind and rejuvenate on the sprawling balcony, where the sunrise and sunset vistas are really photogenic. Or take a break from the sun on the covered deck. Additional interior perks include a game room, a washer/dryer, and central air-conditioning.

Outside, appreciate North Carolina at its best when you dip into the pool or hot tub. Participate in some playful competition on the shared tennis court. Or simply savor each other's company under the radiant sun.

Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

Located in Monteray Shores, a neighborhood in Corolla, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Corolla Raceway. When to visit & When to reserve a Currituck rental home:

  • Summer months are high season in Corolla. To find the best vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
