Positioned atop a dune this “Oasis” displays striking vistas from the wide-open decks. Bright, airy and modern, this striking property offers a beach vacation that you will always treasure. Oasis offers a pretty private pool and plenty of room for a family to spread out and savor their privacy on each level. The Outer Banks has a lot to offer and this Oasis is just part of it. This property is in Spindrift community in the town of Corolla.

All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a modest fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Spindrift, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Tar Cove Marsh, while Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights. Corolla Raceway and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as swimming.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Corolla. To get the best rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Currituck restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.

  • Note any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Be respectful. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
