Finding the best Corolla vacation rental experience:
Get the best rental value:
- To find the largest vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Currituck restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Currituck visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:

- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. 654 - Dog-Friendly Corolla Home w\/ Private Pool, Hot Tub, & Close to the Ocean! has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve the rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.

Tips to have a wonderful stay:
- Add the owner's contact info to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. text the host immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
