The Sandpiper offers you and your family a marvelous vacation hideaway, whether you choose to be located in the trees for privacy or to make the most of the Corolla sunshine. This really uniquely-designed octagonal home is ideally located in Corolla Light. The beach, Oceanfront pools and clubhouse are all within a short walking distance. The appeal of the Sandpiper is enhanced by its many amenities, pretty artwork and area for family together time or a private moment. Be sure to relax on the lower level deck under the trees and on the upper level deck secluded hot tub with a view of the handsome Currituck lighthouse.

Ground Level: Outside amenities include the hot tub (mid-level), outside shower and gas grille. Inside you'll find a Den with flat-screen TV/DVD, Queen Sleep Couch, wet bar with sink and mini-microwave, reading nook with refrigerator, patio access, half bath and laundry with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: Great room with flat-screen TV/DVD and vaulted ceiling, kitchen with double ovens and breakfast bar seating 4 and the dining room seating 8 with a second table seating 4. King Bedroom with flat-screen TV and a Queen Bedroom with with flat-screen TV and semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas). Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV that shares a Jack-n-Jill full bathroom with a Bedroom with 2 Singles. Hot Tub is on the deck.

Top Level: King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV, ocean view and a private full bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Corolla Light, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Whale Head Bay. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Raceway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the best rental within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Currituck restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses.
