This extravagant oceanfront home sits on a high elevation offering striking ocean vistas. Of particular note, the design of Summerwind provides wide-span Ocean and beach vistas from all rooms (even from the kitchen and dining rooms). Every bedroom in the home has generous private deck areas as well as direct private access to the pool, hot tub, dune deck, and the beach.

Ground Level: Outside you'll find the private pool and giant pool deck, over-sized to provide ample space for playing, sunbathing and grilling. Two swings overlook the pool area, and 2 outside showers adjoin. A private walkway to the beach with an additional-huge dune deck and constructed-in seating perched high above the beach. The hot tub (mid level deck) is positioned on a specially constructed deck, offset designed to allow unobstructed vistas of the beach, ocean and stars in the nighttime sky. Also on the mid level deck a shaded porch swing with convenient access to the sheltered front deck, a great place to view evening sunsets. Inside you'll find the Recroom with 50" HD LED TV/Blu-Ray DVD, kitchenette with full-size refrigerator and microwave, stereo with indoor and outdoor poolside speakers, internet radio and many games and books. Mid Level: 3 King Master Bedrooms with TV/DVD, Master Bedroom with 2 Doubles and TV/DVD, Den with TV/DVD, Queen Sleeper Couch, desk/game table provides the ideal private hideaway space to watch movies, play games or read (privacy doors can conveniently close it off to serve as a separate 8th Bedroom or double doors into the adjoining Master Bedroom for expanded family use).

Linens and towels included at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

SPARKLE CLUB: Guests will be able to arrive at their vacation home at 12:00 pm with access to the first level of the home and the pool area only (be advised the pool and spa may not be cleaned by noon, if the home offers a private pool). Please do not attempt to go to any other level in your vacation home until the housekeeping team has finished their work OR 4:00 pm check in time.

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Currituck area. Reserve your rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.   • Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review and help them have the best future vacation.
