Sea Bright is nearly Oceanfront! Labeled as a "flag" property, Sea Bright has direct and private access to the beach with a private walkway, just steps from the home. There is no public access to this beach close by. Appreciate early morning sunrises from the east side of the home and beautiful sunsets from the west, which is protected land, where you have uninterrupted vistas of Currituck Sound. Linens and towels included at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

How to book the best rental home experience:

When to visit Corolla & When to reserve a Corolla rental home:

  • In the Currituck area, The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Summer time is high season in Corolla. Booking in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain money saving offers on local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • To start, have your family select a vacation week and a max budget.

  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available online. If not, contact the property owner before reserving the home. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Request information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

During your stay:

  • Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the rental manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
