This well-maintained oceanside home in Corolla offers a variety of amenities including a private pool, hot tub and rec room. Finest of all, the prime location means you'll be just a short walk to the beach and less than a mile from shopping, dining and some of Corolla's most fashionable attractions.

The attractively appointed open-concept great room features an ocean view, vaulted ceilings and plenty of space for gathering. When you're not dining out at one of Corolla's marvelous eateries, prepare meals at home in the kitchen featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Two generously sized king suites are located on the top level and each include a private bath. With five more bedrooms located on the mid-level (three of which are ensuite) and two more on the ground floor, this roomy getaway is ideal for multiple or extended families. Even the canine members of your tribe can join you since Mi Casa Bella is dog-friendly.

Downstairs is where the fun will continue after a day at the beach. An broad rec room is equipped with a pool table for hours of indoor entertainment, along with a comfortable seating area and TV that can serve as a second living space. There's also a wet bar for convenient poolside drinks and snacks, with an additional full-size refrigerator is for storing additional groceries or the catch of the day. The rec room provides direct access to the private backdoor getaway, where your family can splash in the pool or take a calming soak in the hot tub. Fire up the grille for a surf-and-turf cookout or gather around the tiki bar for an outdoor happy hour anytime of the day.

Getting to the beach is fast and safe using the Tuna Street public beach access, just a four-min. walk from the home with no busy roads to cross. Golfers in your group can take advantage of exclusive discounts at the Currituck Club, an 18-hole championship course in Corolla designed by Rees Jones. A multi-use path that runs through town is ideal for walking, running and cycling. Located on the north end of the Whalehead Beach community, Mi Casa Bella is less than a mile from Corolla Village. Explore unique shopping and dining options plus famed Corolla historic sites including the Whalehead Club and Currituck Beach Lighthouse.

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Currituck area. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite Currituck restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection.   • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a fantastic vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it.
