Choosing the best rental in Corolla:
- Begin by choosing vacation dates and a spending budget.

- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property management company before you reserve your home. - Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- If your family is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a rental that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
Have a fantastic stay:
- Get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that damages aren't linked to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the rental manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many issues.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are out, just like you would back home.
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
