There is a huge Game Room with Foosball Table, Pool Table, TV with DVD Player so all are sure to enhance your family vacation! Enormous, bright, and open rooms with connecting additional wide hallways, provide cavernous living. The unobstructed ocean and dune vistas take you completely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Play in the uniquely designed private pool featuring a waterfall, relax in the hot tub, or have a drink at the outdoor tiki bar. Play a game of pool or foosball in the new recreation room. A Dreamcatcher is located near the beach on a peaceful cul-de-sac where kids can shoot basketball, ride their bicycles, or have fun on their skateboards. Try your hand at fishing! The neighborhood is conducive for leisurely walking or running. There is even a lake for viewing local resident birds. Outer Banks and Corolla Shopping are close by where grocery stores, eateries, entertainment and specialty stores are available. Another 4 miles north is the impressive Currituck Lighthouse with sweeping vistas of the ocean and sound. Travel 2 miles north to the four wheel drive beach area to see the Corolla horses.

When to book & When to go:

  • Summer months are high season in the Currituck area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
