A Beach Attitude will be all your family will need to have a fantastic Outer Banks vacation! It is a dog-friendly home for up to 2 family pets and it is roughly 1100 feet to the Herring Street beach access in the Whalehead Beach neighborhood.

New for 2025 Season: Kitchen being refreshed with new cabinets, countertops, adding 2nd dishwasher; plus new floor on this level . Ground level kitchenette is being remodeled with new cabinets, floor; an ice maker appliance and drink center are being added. The lounge area is being expanded to include the kitchenette. The full-size refrigerator will be moved to laundry area.

Beds: 1 King Master, 4 Queens (2 Masters), 1 Double, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 15 Towel Sets included

TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has elegant outdoor vistas with a huge, sectional couch, a flat-screen TV and access to wide sundecks on 3 sides of the home. There is plenty of deck furnishings for calming on both the top and mid level decks. The screened porch offers more opportunity to appreciate the outdoors with a modest table that can seat 6. The kitchen on the top level is well-outfitted and roomy for meal preparation (there is also second kitchen on the ground level). The dining area can seat 10 persons with 6 chairs and a bench for 4 persons; the kitchen island can seat 6. [Note: gas fireplace is not for guest use.]

MID LEVEL:
From the entry way, there is a Queen Jr. Master Suite with a semi-private bath (shower) which has a door to the hall. A separate Queen bedroom is at the back of this floor. The King Master Suite has a enormous master bath which features a soaking tub and a separate shower. The rooms have access to the mid level deck; a picnic table and a hammock are on the covered deck.

GROUND LEVEL:
There are 3 more bedrooms on this floor: a Queen bedroom has access to a hall bath (shower) and the next bedroom is a Queen Master Suite; its private master bath has a shower/tub combo. The last bedroom has a Double bed and 2 Bunk Bed sets. The game area includes both a Shuffleboard table and a Foosball table and includes a lounge area with a huge flat-screen TV for viewing a ball game or a favorite program. The freshly modernized kitchenette on this level will have a beverage center, an ice maker appliance, microwave, and sink. The lounge area is being expanded to include the kitchenette. The laundry area is located right by the back door to the pool deck; there is a second full-size refrigerator available for additional grocery storage.

EXTRAS:
Appreciate a sizable private pool (16' x 32') and a hot tub plus there is an outdoor full bathroom with a shower to use after visiting the beach or before using the pool or hot tub. A sand volleyball court is located in the backyard. Bring your grille tools to use the propane gas grille located on the pool deck. There is parking for 6-7 cars.

  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
