My only regret about staying at George’s home was that it only lasted a week! The home is excellent and completely outfitted. Access to beach and grocery was ideal. There were a couple of modest glitches that were addressed immediately. George could not have been a better host. If you stay there you were going to have a great time

We had a great stay here! The home was about an 8 min. walk from the beach and a close walk to grocery, stores and dining in Corolla. The kitchen was well supplied with silverware and appliances and there were tons of beach chairs and some beach supplies that we found helpful to borrow.

As a family of 11 with kids ages 3-5, we appreciated open kitchen adjacent to ample living space. Plenty of bathrooms and outdoor shower was a plus. Pool was big hit with the entire family. We had a great vacation!!

George’s place is in an ideal location near numerous beach access points, stores, and eateries. It accommodated our family of 10 well. George is fast in his communication and responses, and was very helpful. While Food Lion is in walking distance, a mile or so down the road is a well appointed Harris Teeter (Kroger) which we preferred. Beach toys, cart and chairs are supplied. Use the Albacore street beach access point...super simple! George explained a towel rental option once the rental was secured, but we brought our own. Corolla was enchanting and the beaches were superb. We fell in appreciate with the area.

This is a nice property in a great location. It is 5 rows from the shore, but a 5-min. walk. Walk to the stores and some eateries. The outdoor amenities are very nice. There is more than ample living space. The kitchen is well equipped. The home accommodated our extended family of 15 rather well.

House in great location: beach, shopping, Dunkin donuts and good eateries all within walking distance. George is the best host with prompt responses to make sure your stay in a great one. We had 8 adults and 6 kids ranging from 9-1 and the rooms accommodated ideally. Thank you George, my family appreciated it and had a great time.

George is accommodating and painless to communicate with. The home is in a great location near the beach and close to places to go (eateries, stores, etc.). I would certainly recommend it and would stay again.

Other things to note
Electronic door access promptly at 4:00 pm on Saturday. Please allow our housekeepers to complete their sanitization and preparation of your vacation home. Due to Covid concerns, no access to driveway, pool or any area of the property until access is granted at 4:00 pm. Thank you.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Corolla Raceway and Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education. Nor'Banks Sailing and Digger's Dungeon - Home of Grave Digger are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
