This 5 bedroom, 4 bath home near an untainted beach in Corolla is the ideal destination for family fun, privacy from the hordes, and tons of time spent leisurely in water. You won't have to miss your furry friend while you're away since 'Dune Our Thing' is dog-friendly! Your family can spend their days splashing in the private pool, soaking in the bubbly hot tub, and shooting hoops on the home basketball goal. The beach is only a half-mile away and a short 10-min. walk! Two decks offer impressive vistas of Corolla sunrises, creating a lasting imprint in your mind of the handsome northern OBX until you return next year!
If you have a family member who can't do stairs and wants a little additional privacy when visiting with your group, then 'Dune Our Thing' is the ideal home for you! It offers a private suite on the ground floor with an exterior entrance and everything else one may need. This is ideal for an elderly family member who needs some privacy from the ruckus of the kids and would prefer to avoid the stairs, if possible. Here they'll have a queen bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, and living area. The bathroom has a roomy walk-in shower. The kitchenette comes with a microwave for preparing painless meals. In the living area, you'll find a table with seating for 3, in case anyone wants to join grandma or grandpa for fast meals during your stay. The living room also doubles as a game room with a mini air hockey table! The family member who stays on the ground level won't even have to share AC/heat, for this level has a separate unit! Venture through the private suite and you'll find the fenced-in pool and hot tub outback.
Travel up to the mid-level and discover where the rest of the bedrooms are held. One queen bedroom has beautiful, dark wooden furnishings and another queen bedroom features handsome teal walls and has private deck access! Both bedrooms have come equipped with HDTVs. You probably won't have to wait long for a bathroom in Dunes Your Thing, for there are 2 hall baths on the mid-floor. There's also a bedroom with a twin bed and bunk bed set, ideal for your lovable little ones, and another queen bedroom with private access to the covered deck – the best place for soaking up the oceanside air while taking a break from the sun!
The top-level homes all the areas where the family can come together. The kitchen includes a huge breakfast bar with seating for four. After you've prepared your tasty catch of the day, gather the entire family together in the dining room at the additional-long table with seating for eight. The living room features tall columns that lead up to striking cathedral ceilings. You'll also find a full bath on the top floor and the sun deck that overlooks the unbeatable northern Outer Banks! There's even a modest table on the sun deck for outside dining!

Spend the day shopping by the close by TimBuck II Shopping Village with plenty of dining options for when you get hungry such as Mike Dianna's Grille Room, La Dolce Vita, North Banks Restaurant & Raw Bar, Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream, and Mama Easley's—just to name a few! Duck Donuts and Island Smoothie are great options for a sweet treat and for a unique bar experience, try Off the Wall Tap House. About 5 miles North, the history buffs in your group will appreciate exploring the historic Whalehead Club or climbing to the top of the Currituck Lighthouse for an gorgeous 360-degree view of the surrounding town.
