Banks Retreat offers a vacation you won't forget. This beautiful eight master bedroom home with a private pool and hot tub give you all you need for a calming and fun hideaway. The reverse floor plan with the living, dining, and kitchen on the top level gives you a cavernous area for everybody to gather to watch your favorite movies or shows, prepare those delicious and memorable meals in the well-equipped kitchen and plenty of dining space for everybody.

The lower level rec room has a pool table and wet bar with a full-size refrigerator and offers more indoor fun. No need to worry about carrying suitcases and groceries upstairs this home offers an elevator with access to all levels.

The impressive beaches in Ocean Hill are only 700 feet away, so savor some sun, surfing, walking or just relaxing. You are within driving distance to many of our local eateries, unique stores, and many family-friendly outdoor activities.

Animals allowed - dogs only. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates and pool heat information, including details regarding the optional pool heat fee.

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Ocean Hill, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Corolla Beach. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting. Getting the best rental experience:

When to book a Currituck rental home & When to go:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Currituck area. To get the best value, try shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.

  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.

  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
