The Neighborhood:
Located in The Whalehead Neighborhood in Corolla, NC. Just a short walk to the beach! A short drive to close by eateries, stores, and Carova Beach which is the home of the OBX wild horses!

There are numerous grocery stores within mins.. Food Lion and Harris Teeter. There are local eateries in Corolla and in Duck. Most of the nicer ones will require a reservation - some on Open Table. There are many adventure activities and tours in the area and they fill up fast.

Just a few mins. north is the entrance to the 4x4 Beach, where you can take a breathtaking drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach. Walk to the Whalehead Brewery, Food Lion or Timbuck 2 shopping center.

We do not accept reservations from individuals under 25 and stringently prohibit third-event bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.

★ RENTAL AGREEMENT & CHECK-IN FORM
Booking Guest will be required to review and agree to the Terms and Conditions of our North Carolina Vacation Rental Agreement, as well as complete a Check-in Form.

★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE

Get the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • Summer months are high season in the Currituck area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Currituck area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.   • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the property to record its condition.
