Sunset Villa is a freshly modernized home in the premier ocean front and sound side resort of Corolla Light. Designed for work-from home comfort, this lightly rented Beacon Villas townhome is located oceanside at the corner of Shad St, where you are roughly 750 steps to toes in the sand! Appreciate the best of both worlds: beautiful sunset vistas of the Currituck Sound from the upstairs front decks and ocean sounds from the downstairs private fenced in back patio!

Sunset Villa features bright and inviting bespoke paint and brand new LVP throughout the entire unit. Totally refurnished, including all new beds and linens, every room has been meticulously decorated in a coastal theme, setting the stage for your ideal and comfortable stay. With four bedrooms, each with its own ensuite and intelligent Roku TV, as well as an additional half bath on the main floor gathering area, every member of the family is sure to find their ideal spot.

The lower level features a queen bedroom with a new XL rollaway bed, a Jack and Jill bath that connects to the recreation room with big screen intelligent Roku TV, as well as a full-size refrigerator & wet bar. Outside, you’ll also find the hot tub on the screened in porch which opens to the back patio sitting area with new privacy fence and Weber Grille.

The main level has soaring vaulted ceilings in the open-concept layout. There are two master bedrooms each with glass shower ensuites: the queen has been designed to offer a modest working desk and chair: the king features a new Serta I-Comfort Hybrid bed. The great room offers another enormous 65” intelligent Roku TV, new leather reclining couches, and additional seating for the whole family. The new dining area is designed to seat eight, with a bench that offers simple in and out seating. The well-equipped kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, granite counters, an island with barstools, giant pantry, and plenty of workspace. Savor the charming sunsets on either of the two front decks outfitted with new Nags Head Polywood furnishings.

Located on the top floor, you’ll find an additional ensuite king bedroom that is sure to delight those that need to do a bit of work from home or hideaway from all the commotion below! This suite features a handsome working desk/chair, cozy window seat, and new leather glider.

As part of the Corolla Light community, you have access to the oceanfront complex, right next door, featuring three outdoor pools, a snack bar, shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, playground, and the only oceanfront restaurant in Corolla, The Oceanfront Grille. The community trolley runs throughout the day - choose to walk or ride anywhere in the resort. The freshly refreshed Sports Center reopens in the Spring of 24; located 800 yards south on the sound side, you’ll find an indoor pool & hottub, cardio and weight rooms, indoor clay tennis courts & more. For those seeking a quieter environment, savor the outdoor sound side pool or take a walk on the nature trails. Golfers can take advantage of preferred prices at The Pointe Golf Club, Carolina Club, Sea Scape Golf Links, and The Currituck Club.

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Outer Banks Beaches and Whale Head Bay. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Raceway are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Currituck area. To find the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.
