From the first rays of morning to when the sun goes down over the mainland, EAST MEETS WEST has everything to make your beach day ideal in a Sound-front home. Rise and shine with a peaceful breakfast on the screened porch followed by a walk along the Currituck Sound. Pull out the 2 paddle boards to the bulkhead and slip out on the water for some terrific vistas. Or head over to the close by Sports Center for your morning gym workout. Then hop the trolley, just steps from the home, for a day of sand, sun and seashells. And if beach isn't your thing, take a dip in the private, gated pool. After a full day at the beach, getaway home to appreciate astounding OBX sunsets! How about an evening under the stars calming in the 30-jet HOT TUB (big enough for 7 adults) on the brand new deck? We also have two levels of west-facing decks that have plenty of deck furnishings for reading or snoozing any time of day. Inside the home are two dining tables and kitchen-island seating to comfortably host enormous family meals. This home has a prepare's kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, all manner of kitchen gadgets, and of course, a huge Weber grille for BBQing. All 5 bedrooms offer a water view and each room is decorated with a beach theme in mind. So what are you waiting for?

Ground Level: Has a rec room with queen couch bed and half bath. There is also a TV/DVD. Rounding out this level are double outside showers, a fish cleaning station a charcoal grille and a picnic table for Sound-front dining.

Mid Level: Has 2 King main bedrooms with TVs (one bath with whirlpool tub), a bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets and a bedroom with 2 Singles, a full bath and a sizable laundry room. The west deck is accessible from the primary bedrooms, great for an afternoon snooze or reading your latest book selection!

Top Level: Features cathedral ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, TV, audio/video system, a huge kitchen with pantry and eating island, dining and living rooms and a half bath. All with wood floors! There is a splendid King main bedroom suite with TV. The hot tub is located on the west deck overlooking the sound plus a screened porch with dining table.

Conveniences: Private unheated Pool, Hot Tub, wood-burning fireplace, WiFi, 5 TVs, 4 DVD, Stereo System, 2 Stand-Up Paddleboards, Video/Book Library, Games, Whirlpool Tub, Screened Porch, Double Outside Shower, Fishing Cleaning Station. Family Animals Permitted ($195: Max of 2 Dogs - No Cats Please). The HOA offers trolley service from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 3 cars.




Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Corolla Light, a neighborhood in Corolla. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Corolla Raceway. Digger's Dungeon - Home of Grave Digger and Flippers Arcade & Variety Store are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
