A separate seating area just off the kitchen provides additional seating plus a shuffleboard table for some friendly competition. Outside, an broad deck serves as an extension of the living area with options for both sun and shade.

All the bedrooms are located on the lower levels, each equipped with a Intelligent TV. The primary suite features an office area for keeping up with work or school remotely, as well as a enormous private bath with double vanity and bespoke-tiled shower. Downstairs you'll find a rec room equipped with a foosball table and a second full-sized kitchen. Prepare snacks and drinks for the backyard patio without having to go upstairs, and use the additional full-size refrigerator for storing additional groceries and the catch of the day. Corolla vacation rental booking tips:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Currituck area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Currituck area. To get the largest vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have money saving offers on nearby accommodations and attractions.

Selecting the best rental home:

  • First, have your group choose the best dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Salty Sunsets: Hot Tub
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available online. Otherwise, email the property management company before you reserve the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is best for your family.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you will need a rental that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Currituck attraction you simply love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Document any issues with the property at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
