Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Ocean Sands, a neighborhood in Corolla. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Tar Cove Marsh, while Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Wild Horse Museum are cultural highlights. Corolla Raceway and Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars are also worth visiting. With jet skiing, kayaking, and parasailing nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Summer is high season in Corolla. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.

  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
