Upgrades for 2023 supplied the addition of a half bath on the beach/pool level, all new outdoor showers, new expanded pool deck, fence and artificial turf. Indoor remodel supplied new LVT floor throughout top level living areas with new bespoke shelving on the gas fireplace.

Inside you'll find a Recroom with TV, Queen Sleep Couch and 12' shuffleboard table, freestanding arcade game, mini bar with full size refrigerator with ice maker and the laundry with washer and dryer.

Mid Level: King Master Bedroom with TV, Queen Master Bedroom with TV, and a Bedroom with a Double, Single and TV that shares a bathroom with a Queen Bedroom. All bedrooms have deck access and the hot tub is on the covered deck.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Tricks and tips to get the best vacation home experience:

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Currituck area. Booking your Currituck vacation home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Currituck area magazine when you arrive at the rental property.   • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
