You'll know you've found a real beach treasure as soon as you enter this jewel of a vacation home. Located on an upsized home site on a peaceful cul-de-sac, mere steps from the beach, it’s the ideal place for you and your family to relax, relax, and appreciate the oceanside lifestyle in Corolla. There’s a phenomenal private pool to keep the kids entertained and broad decking that invites sea breezes and amazing ocean vistas. A poolside tiki bar encourages socializing with the gang and the commercial-grade ice machine keeps everybody’s drinks cool. The double-sided gas fireplace takes the chill off of cool fall evenings, so this home is ideal for shoulder season gatherings. The peaceful neighborhood is great for afternoon strolls and safe for the kids on bicycles. Argonauta is a beach home you'll want to return to again and again.

Ground Level: A carport and a covered entry; access to the pool and pool deck via gated entries; loungers and a patio umbrella; a tiki bar with comfortable seating for six, a ceiling fan, and a wet bar; an outdoor bathroom; an outside shower; a shell-cleaning station; and a commercial ice machine inside the storage area.

Mid Level: A main bedroom with a whirlpool tub, a 40-inch TV, a DVD player, and deck access; a queen bedroom with a 32-inch TV, a DVD player, and deck access; a bedroom with two singles, deck access, and access to the front porch and swing; a bedroom with two bunk sets; a full bath with a separate vanity area; a washer/dryer.

Top Level: A bright and airy great room with a two-sided gas fireplace; a three-panel sliding glass door and windows reveal a gorgeous ocean view; a family room off the great room with a pocket door for privacy, a fireplace, a 65-inch TV, a DVD player, and a stereo; a bespoke game/puzzle table with banquette seating; a kitchen with a 28-inch TV visible from the kitchen and great room; a breakfast bar with seating for four; a dining area with seating for eight; a half-bath; a screened porch with two rockers; and a enormous oceanside deck with Adirondack furnishings and a picnic table hosting fantastic ocean vistas.

Conveniences: A private pool, a poolside tiki bar with a fan and lights, a commercial ice machine, a basketball goal, a cable TV, a dual-sided gas fireplace, two charcoal grilles, a high chair, an outside bathroom, an outside shower, a Pack 'n Play, two kid guard rails for top bunk beds, and unlimited long distance to the United States and Canada. THINGS TO KNOW
The pool is open from the end of April through mid-October.
Fireplaces are available from November 1 through April 1.

How to get the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To book the most suitable rental within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Currituck restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your vacation.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
