Play on the beach all day and then gaze up at the milky way from the hot tub at nighttime. There's nothing more calming than a week at Water Music in Corolla.
When you arrive, you'll find the beds made and both bath and beach towels laid out. You'll find toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and a hair dryer in all the bathrooms. You'll find laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent and dish soap. And you'll find paper towels, trash bags and even zip locks.
Water Music has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the third floor, there is a huge kitchen, dining room living room area. There is also a bedroom with a king bed and a full bathroom.
On the second floor, there are four bedrooms. Two bedrooms on each side of the entry with Jack&Jill bathrooms between them. There is also a washer and dryer.
Each floor has a enormous deck with deck furnishings. In the back yard there is a private, fenced pool and hot tub. There is also an outdoor shower and two charcoal grilles.

Our top Currituck rental booking tips:
Getting the most from your spending budget:
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in Corolla. Book your Currituck rental home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Look for your local Currituck visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby shops and restaurants.
How to choose and book a perfect Currituck vacation home:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and choose a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Water Music OBX: Ocean views, easy beach access, private pool. Pet friendly. has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
More considerations:
- Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many difficulties.
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
- Upon check-in, document any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to stimulate future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
