Our impressive Outer Banks vacation home sits on the Currituck sound in The Currituck Club, Corolla. The community offers 5 pools, multiple tennis courts, exercise center, game room with internet access, basketball courts, trolley service to the beach, and priority tee times and discounts at the Rees Jones designed Currituck Club golf course. We have 3 master suites, jetted tub and hot tub and wifi. You'll savor grilling your fresh caught seafood or delicious steaks on one of our two grilles.

Glorious sunsets over the Currituck Sound coupled with gentle breezes make our hammock at water's edge the ideal place to relax or watch the ducks, swans and other wildlife. This striking Outer Banks soundfront home offers casual living at it's best with gorgeous heart pine floors, a sizable well-equipped kitchen, and a 1st floor master suite with his and her bathrooms. Appreciate a true hideaway at Live Oak Landing in your own mini-resort and spa.

All trolleys run from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.

This pretty Outer Banks vacation home has a no smoking policy and family pets are not allowed. Parking is available for 4-5 cars.

About the Area

Located in Corolla, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and The Sanderling Spa are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Corolla Raceway and Nor'Banks Sailing. When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal NC. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Currituck area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines contain discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

  • Select vacation week and spending budget.

  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the host before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out which bed configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or applied to your contract.

  • During check-in, document any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your life at home. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
