When you want to discover, spend the day in nature at Currituck National Wildlife Refuge, about 14 miles north, or head south around 20 miles for a dose of history at the Wright Brothers National Memorial. In between, you'll find miles of handsome beaches and the beautiful town of Duck, around 10 miles away. Closer to home, you've got access to a 7-acre supplied fishing lake.

But first, coffee - brew a pot and spend the morning calming on any of four comfortably furnished decks, then slip into the hot tub for a pre-breakfast soak if you're not rather ready to start the day. Inside, you'll find ample natural light, cheerful coastal decor, and an open floor plan ideal for spending time together. The full kitchen features everything you need to whip up mealtime masterpieces, and there's plenty of room to savor a meal around the dining table or breakfast bar.

Book your vacation home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
