"Irie" is a Jamaican saying that means "I'm alright," and that's exactly how you'll feel during your stay at this newly constructed home in the Villages at Ocean Hill. The lot is located across from Crystal Lake and backs up to the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest for ultimate seclusion and privacy. You'll be just half a mile from the wide and pristine 4x4 beaches where you can spend the day among Corolla's wild horses. After a day of sun, sand and surf, come home and splash in the private pool or take a calming soak in the hot tub. Inside, the main living area offers plenty of comfortable seating plus an open-concept layout for quality time spent with adored ones. Vaulted ceilings and a relaxing color palette create a bright, coastal-inspired space with generous natural light. The great room also features a cozy electric fireplace and access to the striking front porch. The chef in the family will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen with pretty granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island with bar seating. Stylish LVP floor runs throughout the entire home, including the bedrooms. At the end of the nighttime, getaway to the roomy primary suite with access to a private sun deck and a spa-like bath with bespoke-tiled shower. Two additional bedrooms and two full baths downstairs will comfortably accommodate family and friends. Also on the ground level you'll find a rec room with sleeper couch, TV and arcade game. It leads directly out to the pool area and is equipped with a wet bar for convenient drinks and snacks to savor poolside or at the Tiki Bar.
While you're here, take advantage of the Villages at Ocean Hill community amenities including oceanfront and lakefront pools, playground, basketball court, and nature trails. Weekly passes can be purchased for access to the exercise center and tennis courts. Cyclists will enjoy the nearly 2-mile stretch of the freshly paved bicycle lane which connects the Villages at Ocean Hill to shopping and dining in the Corolla Light community. Finest of all, the beach is just a half mile away using the access on Sandcastle Drive, which is within walking distance but also provides parking.
No family pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Please refer to the Rental Agreement while reviewing Rules & Policies for pool opening/closing dates.

Strategies to get the perfect Currituck rental home experience:
Get the most from your vacation rental budget:
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Book your vacation in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Selecting and booking the right Currituck rental home:
- Start by having your group select dates and a budget.
- Hot Tub has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the host before reserving the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs applied to your contract.
- If there's a specific Currituck destination you are enamored with, look for homes that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Tips for your stay:
- Add the owner's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
- To make sure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, note any problem areas during check in. E-mail the property manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
- Did your family have a wonderful vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
