"Irie" is a Jamaican saying that means "I'm alright," and that's exactly how you'll feel during your stay at this freshly constructed home in the Villages at Ocean Hill. The lot is located across from Crystal Lake and backs up to the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest for ultimate seclusion and privacy. You'll be just half a mile from the wide and pristine 4x4 beaches where you can spend the day among Corolla's wild horses. After a day of sun, sand and surf, come home and splash in the private pool or take a calming soak in the hot tub. Inside, the main living area offers plenty of comfortable seating plus an open-concept layout for quality time spent with adored ones. Vaulted ceilings and a calming color palette create a bright, coastal-inspired space with generous natural light. The great room also features a cozy electric fireplace and access to the striking front porch. The chef in the family will savor the well-equipped kitchen with charming granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island with bar seating. Stylish LVP floor runs throughout the entire home, including the bedrooms. At the end of the nighttime, getaway to the cavernous primary suite with access to a private sun deck and a spa-like bath with bespoke-tiled shower. Two additional bedrooms and two full baths downstairs will comfortably accommodate family and friends. Also on the ground level you'll find a rec room with sleeper couch, TV and arcade game. It leads directly out to the pool area and is equipped with a wet bar for convenient drinks and snacks to appreciate poolside or at the Tiki Bar.
While you're here, take advantage of the Villages at Ocean Hill community amenities including oceanfront and lakefront pools, playground, basketball court, and nature trails. Weekly passes can be purchased for access to the exercise center and tennis courts. Cyclists will enjoy the nearly 2-mile stretch of the newly paved bicycle lane which connects the Villages at Ocean Hill to shopping and dining in the Corolla Light community. Finest of all, the beach is just a half mile away using the access on Sandcastle Drive, which is within walking distance but also provides parking.

Tricks and tips for getting the best Corolla vacation home experience:
When to go & When to reserve a rental home:
- The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
- To get the largest rental home within budget, we recommend reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Currituck visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have deals for local accommodations and attractions.
How to choose and book the perfectvacation home:
- Select vacation week and maximum budget.
- Hot Tub has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available online. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the property. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- Is your group looking for particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
Tips for a great stay:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
- During arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
