"Irie" is a Jamaican saying that means "I'm alright," and that's exactly how you'll feel during your stay at this freshly constructed home in the Villages at Ocean Hill. The lot is located across from Crystal Lake and backs up to the Currituck Banks Maritime Forest for ultimate seclusion and privacy. You'll be just half a mile from the wide and pristine 4x4 beaches where you can spend the day among Corolla's wild horses. After a day of sun, sand and surf, come home and splash in the private pool or take a calming soak in the hot tub. Inside, the main living area offers plenty of comfortable seating plus an open-concept layout for quality time spent with appreciated ones. Vaulted ceilings and a calming color palette create a bright, coastal-inspired space with generous natural light. The great room also features a cozy electric fireplace and access to the gorgeous front porch. The chef in the family will appreciate the well-equipped kitchen with charming granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island with bar seating. Stylish LVP floor runs throughout the entire home, including the bedrooms. At the end of the nighttime, getaway to the roomy primary suite with access to a private sun deck and a spa-like bath with bespoke-tiled shower. Two additional bedrooms and two full baths downstairs will comfortably accommodate family and friends. Also on the ground level you'll find a rec room with sleeper couch, TV and arcade game. It leads directly out to the pool area and is equipped with a wet bar for convenient drinks and snacks to savor poolside or at the Tiki Bar.
While you're here, take advantage of the Villages at Ocean Hill community amenities including oceanfront and lakefront pools, playground, basketball court, and nature trails. Weekly passes can be purchased for access to the exercise center and tennis courts. Cyclists will enjoy the nearly 2-mile stretch of the freshly paved bicycle lane which connects the Villages at Ocean Hill to shopping and dining in the Corolla Light community. Finest of all, the beach is just a half mile away using the access on Sandcastle Drive, which is within walking distance but also provides parking.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Currituck vacation rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Currituck area. To find the largest rental home within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply Currituck area travel guides that include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Currituck visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Filter your rental search:
- Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a max budget.
- Private Pool
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking websites. If not, email the property management company before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a particular Currituck destination you simply love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.
Know before you go:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
- Upon arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Just prior to departing, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
