Heron Comes the Sun is an immaculate home in the Currituck Club that offers everything you need to get back outside and soak up the OBX sunshine. During your stay, everybody in your group will delight in the delightfully landscaped backyard with shining private pool, volleyball court, and a barefoot-friendly lawn that's ideal for yard games. Your furry companions will especially appreciate the broad outdoor space at this pet-friendly home. The pool can be heated certain times of the year, bringing those much needed countless summer vibes to your off-season getaways.

Inside, the open-concept great room has been attractively furnished for max. comfort. This bright and airy space features a soaring tray ceiling, gas fireplace (off-season only) and direct access to an east-facing sun deck that overlooks the pool and backyard. Get dinner started in the entirely outfitted kitchen that features a double oven for preparing a family feast. With a dining table for eight and bar seating for four more, there's plenty of room to sit down and appreciate meals together. After a day at the beach or calming by the pool, wind down in the evenings with a exhilarating drink while watching the sunset from the roomy front porch.

Heron Comes the Sun provides over 3,000 square feet of indoor living space and six bedrooms to comfortably accommodate multiple or extended families. The split-level layout consists of three bedrooms upstairs (including two king ensuites) and three additional bedrooms (including the third king ensuite) on the lower floor. Downstairs, you'll also find a comfortable den that can be used for some peaceful time or a movie nighttime. Use the full-sized refrigerator in the laundry room for storing additional groceries or the catch of the day.

During the summer months, you can park your car in the garage and leave it there your entire stay if you'd like since the seasonal trolley makes a stop less than 50ft. from the home. This complimentary shuttle service will take you to the beach and when you arrive, you'll be greeted by a valet who can assist you with carrying all of your gear (Memorial Day - Labor Day). Back at the resort, take advantage of a variety of world-class amenities available exclusively to Currituck Club guests. The community's main clubhouse features a exercise center, outdoor pool, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and volleyball. Just past the clubhouse, a Harris Teeter is located at the entrance of the community so groceries and conveniences will always be just mins. away.

About the Area

Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Booking in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
• Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
• Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.
