About this Property
- Sleeps 16
- 6 Bedrooms
- 7 Bathrooms
- Private vacation home
- Approximately 3861 square feet
Aptly named, the home IS really The BEST Of ALL worlds, “Away From It All” as it is on the North End of Carova Beach with a 100 ft wide private lot, where horses running the beach are plentiful. It was previously listed by Twiddy Realty, and it is a great home with impeccable decor and major renovations now inside and out AND with vistas like no other! It is available exclusively to offer the spectacular Carova Beach lifestyle —and striking vistas of the ocean waves, where you can even watch the dolphins play out the windows of the great room, and SEE the horses!
There are 4 King Size bedrooms with private bathroom en-suite, and 2 more bedrooms each with 2 bunk bed sets, so sleeps 16 in beds comfortably, for a sizable total of 12 beds (snafu at very top says 20 beds —but it is actually a total of 12 beds and sleeps 16 and 6 total bedrooms)—and ALL linens included with beds made and ready when you arrive. Total of 7 bathrooms: six full and one half bath. Please note all the King Size Beds offer great comfort with pillow toppers that will help you rest after a day on the beach and in the pool with the family! Also, please note the jets in master bathroom tub no longer function and apparently now can’t be repaired, so have an extraordinary hot tub and pool but sorry no jetted tubs.
It is approx. 4000 sf of living space, with a enormous private pool 12x32 and hot tub (open Memorial Day May to just end of week after Labor Day season, please ask if concerns for pool and/or hot tub being opened while there at other times), a game room with pool table, couch, drink refrigerator, full size refrigerator, and brand new 2023 big ice maker installed in lower level, too, Plus there is even an outdoor basketball and horseshoe area.
A Picture Ideal kitchen is what you will find on the upper floor with stainless steel appliances, a very huge dining room table that will seat 10 or separate for 2 tables to seat 8 at each table, a modest breakfast table for 4, and then 4 bar stools at the counter top with the setting surrounded by vistas of the ocean from every angle! AND, just refreshed entire kitchen March 2021 with brand new cabinets and brand new butcher block counter tops, brand new intelligent top of the line LG oven and brand new stainless steel refrigerator summer 2022! Now ALL new floor in dining area in fall 2023!
***We hope you thoroughly appreciate the recent improvements made to the kitchen! Please help us keep our butcher block counter tops in “like-new” condition. We have many cutting boards left out on the counters for your convenience. Please use a cutting board when placing any food items on the counter tops or when cutting. Thank you for helping us keep our home looking soo handsome!***
And of course the biggest great room is on the upper floor off from the kitchen. And to complete the top floor is the biggest of the 4 king size en-suite bedrooms complete with a modest office space, too—with desk, chair, and 2 more chairs for sitting area.
And New floor for Spring/Summer 2024 just installed very end of 2023 on upper level great room and dining room IS Now all in place as of end of November 2023! It IS Alluring floor! —the new opulent LVP floor is now in dining room and great room replacing the carpets therein giving it such an striking updated look!
More home decor added as well as new kitchen items ranging from A Brand New huge Shrimp Pot, new kitchen towels and new wall hangings and other accessories like potato peelers and the like just added in late 2023 for 2024!
It is a very roomy and well appointed home with 4 decks on both sides —8 total decks, with Aruba blue and white Polywood Adirondack chairs, and pool furnishings (loungers and chairs around pool and on decks only—please bring own beach chairs as not supplied )Also, yes, there is a charcoal grille! Some charcoal and lighter fluid is left at the beginning of the season always, but please replace charcoal and lighter fluid so next guests will have ready to grille out, too, upon arrival. And brand new white dining polywood table and chairs just added 2022 for outside dining enjoyment! Late 2023 More Blue Aruba Adirondack chairs were added to the decks overlooking the ocean PLUS polywood brand new Aruba Blue and Grey chaise loungers for around the pool fun times!
Watch the ocean as you relax in master suite, or while dining, from the pool, while preparing meals in the kitchen and even when bathing…yes blind for privacy or open and savor ocean vistas and even see horses passing by. And the painting of this home has begun already here in late December 2023!
You will appreciate tranquility, tranquility and beauty of Away From It All with THE most magical vistas ever!
This is the Beach that really has it all #AwayFromItAll
***Please do note that a 4 WD Car IS required to access this oceanfront home as it is such a remote luxury! ****Also it is important that one Airs down the tires to 20PSI before enter onto the sand and there is an airing down station just before go off the pavement. It is highly recommended arrival during daylight areas and also Not at high tide. To determine the tides, google tides charts for Corolla,NC for date of your arrival and avoid the high tide noted times.
AND you will see tons of ponies typically all around the home….and please see last photos ..as you never know when they may just just choose Away From It All to spend the nighttime like they did in these photos …. What a great surprise for guests to have spend the nighttime ponies in front of the home here!
Also, only a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels Are included. You will need to bring more with you for the week or plan a trip to the store. And you will need To bring your own dishwasher and laundry pods, additional soap, own shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, etc.
Also, we Appreciate FurChildren—but additional cleaning is required after they leave, therefore, there is a pet fee required for max. of 2 dogs allowed—-cameras do reveal entries SO if family pets come onto premises without pet fee paid, then guests can be asked to leave immediately with no refunds given and/or forfeit entire security deposit—so please if intend to bring pet(s) let us know and do pay the pet fee prior to arrival....this is non-negotiable and we do not like to see guests lose their trip/monies over this issue.
Closest grocery stores are in Corolla: Food Lion and Harris Teeter. And ice is available for purchase at the Fire Station on Ocean Pearl Road on the sand close to the home.
WiFi WAS by Century Link (Brightspeed), BUT lines kept getting cut or something happening and techs couldn’t get out for 2 weeks or more, because it is out on the 4WD sand —so we put in Starlink June 2024, and still signals aren’t always great and if a storm then WiFi can be out for extended period of time—please know this is out of our control. Recommend bringing a “hot spot” for back up if know you must have internet while there. It seems Verizon has the strongest signals out in this area. Please note Century Link (now Brightspeed) is ONLY provider out there and a brand new router was put in spring 2021 so as up to date as could be in this area—yet then lines constantly being cut and no service for weeks, so that IS why June 2024 the decision was made to add starlink…which again is quirky, too, still at times . In welcome notebook there is the WiFi network and password.
****Note a change on beach passes effective as of 2022—beach passes are being obtained and left at the home for guests to use…please leave them at the home when you depart or there will be a charge of $400 for every beach pass that is missing….new policy this year where so many per home to use and limited passes available so these are being supplied for guests now --again do return them to where found them at home upon departure…thank you*****
And if interest in booking for less than 7 nighttime stays in March, April, or In Late October, November—Please message me through Vacation Rental By Owner.com, and will override the usual 7 nighttime stay requirement for those four months, thank you.

Tricks and tips to get the perfect Currituck rental home experience:
When to visit Corolla & When to reserve a Currituck rental home:
- Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Currituck area. To book the largest rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Currituck attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Currituck visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines have discounts for nearby tours and attractions.
Choosing the perfect vacation home in the Currituck area:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. Ocean Front Row,on Beach,Many Updates,Sleeps16,Private Pool,Hottub&Pet Friendly has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property owner before booking the home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is best for your group.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or might be applied to your invoice.
- Does your family require specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
Tips for your stay:
- Add the host's phone number to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many problems.
- Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
- Record any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
