Appreciate countless beach days with your family splashing around in the waves with a short, simple walk from your OBX vacation home to to the beach access at the end of the street! Breakaway also features it's very own private pool for you to appreciate at your leisure as well as a hot tub.

Inside Breakaway, you'll find a cavernous, open concept living area complete with flatscreen TV and fireplace; making it the ideal space to catch up with friends and family. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare meals during your Outer Banks vacation. The breakfast bar provides seating for 3 and the dining room table provides additional seating for 7, ensuring everybody has a place at the table.

You can even dine on the screened porch and take advantage of the great weather and OBX breezes! The furnished upper sun decks provide the ideal place to sit outside with your cup of coffee while the covered furnished deck is a great spot to read your favorite book or relax in the porch swing!

Each bedroom features flat screen TVs and ample space for everybody to stretch out, relax, and rest up for the next fun filled Outer Banks day! Breakaway also features a dining area by the pool, foosball table, air hockey table, and more!

  • Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
