Approximately 450 feet to the beach access 400 feet to the lake and less than ¼ mile to the community pool and tennis court, what could be better?

Constructed by Shoreline Builders, this home includes 6 bedrooms (5 are masters), 6 ½ baths, an elevator, a separate rec room with a pool table, as well as a mid-level sitting area, a hot tub, and a heated private pool ($350 weekly fee for heating), a reversed living/great room and kitchen and plenty of outdoor living spaces!
Bright and full of appeal, this Ocean Lakes home is located on a lot that backs up to a permanent open space with vistas of the ocean and lake. This home is kid-friendly!

The private pool area includes plenty of seating, an outdoor shower, and a tiki bar. A huge outdoor turf area accepts for plenty of space for your entire group. Outdoor speakers allow you to savor great music while calming by the pool or grilling on the gas grille. Also, there is a 34" TV in the tiki bar!! The pool is open through Thanksgiving and can be heated for an additional fee!

The mid-level offers decks to appreciate various outdoor seating arrangements as well as relaxing in the mid-level hot tub. Completing this floor is a sitting area for separate relaxation with a TV/DVD combo, and board games for all ages.

The dining area has a huge table for family and friends to gather, as well as access to the sizable upper deck with plenty of seating, ocean vistas, and outdoor speakers. There is a well-outfitted kitchen with tons of cabinets, a enormous island with additional seating, a 2nd sink, and its own deck. A sizable refrigerator with 2 ice makers, a double oven with a range, microwave, dishwasher, and a separate pantry/buffet area combine to create a great kitchen. The living area has a large SMART TV and DVD player, stereo, and an elevator!

However, due to the nature of our area, we cannot guarantee internet will always be functioning, as the Outer Banks can experience outages from time to time. We strongly advise that guests bring their own personal hotspots or other cell service devices to provide internet access, especially if the internet is needed for work or school. Shoreline OBX and our homeowners are not responsible for any internet interruptions.

Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:

  • To find the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Currituck attractions. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.

  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. .
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional fees or applied to your invoice.

More considerations:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • Note any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of problems.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
