Mid Level: King Master Bedroom with flat-screen TV, deck access and private bathroom, Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV, Bedroom with a DuoBunk plus flat-screen TV and a full hallway bathroom. Outside you'll find a screened porch with Hot Tub and sitting area and a covered deck with a hammock and sound vistas!

Top Level: Great room with flat-screen TV/DVD, gas fireplace, sound vistas, and screened porch access with outside dining for 4, gas grille and a crows nest with seating area and impressive water vistas! Kitchen with counter seating for 2, coffee bar, dining area seating 7 and a Queen Bedroom with flat-screen TV, and a semi-private full bathroom (second door from bathroom to living areas).

4-WD REQUIRED - This home is only accessible by high clearance Four-Wheel-Drive cars such as a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer, etc. You will be driving on the beach, over dune lines and in soft sand.

Linens and towels supplied at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep couches, top bunk beds and trundle beds in which case the sheets are included. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Carova Beach is convenient for families because it is not necessary to walk to the beach. A walk over the dune or a 30 second drive in your four wheel drive car brings you out to the beach where you can park right on the beach and savor the luxury of having all your beach goodies at your fingertips and appreciate the day! Wild horses roam the area as well as fox, deer, and tons of waterfowl on the sound.

Beach Parking Passes are required to park on the beach from the last Saturday in April through the first Saturday in October. You do not need a pass to drive on the beach or park at the home. Two 4x4 parking passes are supplied with each 4x4 vacation home with a $50 cash deposit (refunded when passes are returned). Passes can be picked up at our Corolla Office (1023 Ocean Trail) during business hours. If more than two passes are needed, there are a limited number of additional available parking passes each week that can be purchased from Currituck County. The cost for a 4x4 parking pass is $50 and can be purchased online, but has to be picked up in person at the Corolla Visitor Center. Please double check Corolla Visitor Center business hours when planning your trip .

About the Area

Located in Corolla, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Wild Horse Museum and Military Aviation Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Digger's Dungeon - Home of Grave Digger. Currituck County Welcome Center and Flippers Arcade & Variety Store are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
• To find the largest rental within your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
• Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
• Look for your local Currituck area magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
