Start or continue your Outer Banks vacation tradition at the freshly refreshed Coastal Sunrise! This comfortable five-bedroom, four-bathroom home is in the sought-after Whalehead Club community. Set on a enormous half-acre lot just steps away from the ocean, nearly everything has been updated at Coastal Sunrise. New floor, new furnishings, new king beds, new TVs, new finishes…even new silverware!

Unique to the southern part of Whalehead Club, appreciate the solitude and sounds that comes with proximity to the ocean and walkability to Corolla’s most trendy destinations for shopping, eateries, groceries, and sound-based water activities. You will not know it is there, but you will be glad that it is!

With the beach access less than 240 yards away, you might just want to spend your days there. When you need a break though: Space, space, and more space! Unlike other communities in the area, feel cozy letting your kids spend the entire day outside without fear of being too close to the road or too noisy for the neighbors. The cavernous pool area is located to the side of the home and flows into the backyard. Want to play cornhole? How about Kan Jam? Or Bocci? Why not split up and play all three at the same time? In this backyard, it is possible!

Every detail cared for, this home is the ideal destination for making memories with your family and friends year after year!

Layout:

Top Level: As you approach the top step, you’ll be greeted by an open-concept floorplan that flows seamlessly out to an broad Trex deck with ocean vistas. Vaulted ceilings with new ceiling fans and wood beams make the floorplan feel even more roomy. To your immediate right, you’ll find the huge, kitchen table and a completely-outfitted kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, new glassware, pots, and silverware. Off to the left, a shared bathroom with hottub tub and the top level bedroom. This modern chic designed bedroom has a brand-new king-sized bed, intelligent TV, and closet for your enjoyment.

The prominent features of the open layout are the sizable 65” intelligent TV and bespoke pantry. Grab a fresh-brewed cup of coffee from the coffee bar (or espresso from the espresso machine) and head outside to savor the sunrise. Or, if coffee isn’t your thing, wait until evening to pull a bottle out of the wine refrigerator while you eat on the deck.

Ample seating is available on the 110” Haverty’s sectional couch and corner seating area adjacent to the TV.

On the deck, enjoy shaded meals outside on the 8 foot picnic table while admiring the ocean vistas or spend time with a bigger group under the stars while sitting in the new, polywood Adirondack chairs.

Mid-Level: The mid-level has a bright and airy entry area, ideal for meeting before heading out to enjoy the day. Three of the home's five bedrooms are located off the entryway, including two with king-sized beds.

The first, a west-facing king suite, has a handsome antique dresser and upsized mirror. The attached bath has updated finishes and a new toilet.

The east-facing second bedroom, this home’s biggest, also has a king-sized bed and access to an expansive deck. A shared bath with hottub tub connects this bedroom with the third bedroom on this level.

The east-facing third bedroom has a queen-sized bed and opens to the deck. This bedroom is immediately adjacent to the six-person hot tub.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans and intelligent TVs.

Lower Level: Perhaps our favorite, this floor has been nearly completely remodeled to be the place where people of all ages can go for fun and games simultaneously…or just to hang out and watch the big game. This level is also accessible from ground-floor entryways at the front and back of the home. Just inside the front entryway, which has keyless entry, is a hall tree with hooks and shelving to effortlessly put away your beach gear…so that sand doesn’t have to follow you all over the home! Opposite the hall tree is a high-top bar, where up to three people can sit or play a game. Further into the room, a 50” TV is accessorized by a cozy denim-colored couch and a high-top bar directly behind it for additional seating. To the left of the T.V. is an upsized drink refrigerator for painless access to your favorite refreshments during the game. Behind the bar is a unique wall game called Boss Toss, a game that you definitely should play when you arrive. To the left of Boss Toss is a closet with beach gear/games and to the right you will find access to the ground floor full bathroom and fifth bedroom, with pyramid bunk.

About the Area

Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Whalehead Beach, a neighborhood in Corolla. Outer Banks Beaches and Currituck Beach reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Corolla Adventure Golf and Bumper Cars and Corolla Raceway. Outer Banks Center for Wildlife Education and Nor'Banks Sailing are also worth visiting.
