Getting the best rental value:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Summer is high season in the Currituck area. To book the best vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Currituck restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
