Located in Spindrift a gated community on an additional-enormous attractively landscaped lot on a peaceful cul-de-sac only 800 ft to the beach access. 42-inch HDTV's in the great room and game room! There are actually 7 sleeping areas offered in this home: 6 bedrooms plus a loft with a daybed and trundle. Sister home SPIN-2 is located right next door, the two make it ideal for huge family gatherings!

The great room has a awesome wall of windows accepting natural light throughout this cavernous living area with TV/DVD. The full kitchen offers a breakfast counter seating up to 5, and two dining areas with circular dining tables. Screened porch off dining area accepting for additional outdoor dining space. A spiral staircase leads to a loft area above the great room with a daybed and trundle. This home is kid friendly!

Private swimming pool (can be heated for $350 ) with enclosed outside shower and changing room, hot tub, basketball court, picnic table, lounge chairs, family volleyball court, and driveway with plenty of parking. 2-person swing under the deck near the BBQ area. Short walk to community tennis. The family dog is welcome. High-Speed internet. Gas grille!

Getting the best Corolla vacation property experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • In the Currituck area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Currituck area. To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses.   • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking.

Tips to have a wonderful stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good feedback to compel new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
