The private pool and hot tub are nearly completely out of view of the neighbors due to mature trees and shrubs. Appreciate the outdoor sound system while grilling, playing basketball, swimming in the private pool or playing on your own shuffleboard court.

How to book the best Corolla vacation property experience:
Finding your perfect rental:
- To find the best value, consider shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Currituck vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
Make a plan and choose the bestvacation home:
- Begin by selecting vacation dates and a max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. S033- 4 BRs, Private Pool, Hot Tub and Shuffleboard in a quiet cul-de-sac! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If there's a particular Currituck destination you crave, look for homes that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your contract.
More considerations:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. message the rental manager right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many issues.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
